This restaurant has been around for a long time, the decor is outdated but it's cozy and authentic, and it's a comfort place for our family when we crave for Vietnamese food. They have remodeled the restaurant layout to accommodate a karaoke stage for parties - a very Asian thing It has an extensive menu offering, from Pho to rice vermicelli to rice with grilled meat to pan fried noodles or caramelized salmon in clay pot to curry rice. I have tried them all over the years and they are always delicious. Today I had the pan fried egg noodles with seafood, the noodles have to be fried just the right amount to serve and it was done so well so delicious. I never have issues with freshness of the food - I have had the shrimp and papaya salad, vermicelli, summer roll, etc., these dishes require fresh ingredients or you'll taste it right away, and I never have any problems. They also have a good selection of wine and beers. I particularly appreciate its consistent and genuine service. They may not greet you or chat up with you with a big smiley but they always make sure you are served and attended to, water is filled, etc. Nowadays with so many overpriced gimmicks, I totally enjoy traditional authentic establishments like Taste of Vietnam.

The food here is great and very affordable for the amount that they give you. I always order pho when I come here and every single time the broth is flavored perfectly and the meat that's included is always nice, and the noodles are wonderful. Their lunch specials are also pretty great. The service is most just okay, it's never been bad, but it's just kind of what you expect and nothing more which isn't really an issue for me. At the end of the day flavor matters the most, and if the server is prompt on asking my order, and delivering food and drink to the table I'm not going to dock them points or anything. The food is great, and affordable, so you should check it out.

I've been craving for some Pho for a while and decided to take care of it last Friday. A cold very windy evening so decided to carry out from Tase of Vietnam. I ordered Vegetarian Noodles Soup for myself and Golden Brown Tofu and Mixed Vegetables Stir-Fried for my wife. This was the first time I ordered from this restaurant and quite frankly I was pleasantly surprised. Very authentic and filling. Nice place with good ambiance, clean and good staff. I'll definitely go back.

Food, for me, has always been an adventure. ~Anthony Bourdain * . We celebrated Our Food Visas' couple valentines a few days late...to avoid the crowds. Our plan was simple, in the morning we saw a epic historical movie, Tanaji then we went out for lunch at the Taste of Vietnam. * . Menu: Chicken Curry, Rice and Chicken Steamed Dumplings. * . Taste: Delicious & tender chicken dish, well prepared, with a tasty sauce perfected with extra spice seasons. * . Atmosphere: As you enter, to the left of the door is a small shrine with offering to Budda. The restaurant itself, was cozy, quiet and intimate setting which was great for a warm, friendly date, filled with laughter and chatting* . Service: Professional, friendly and very quick. There were only a few patrons in the restaurant at the time of our visit, so we did have their undivided attention. Great food establishment, so I'd recommend it, when you are on that side of town. .
